Russian billionaire banker Andrei Melnichenko has paid Christina Aguilera 2 million pounds ($3.6 million) to perform three songs at the celebration of his nuptials with former Miss Yugoslavia Aleksandra Kokotovic, the Mirror newspaper reports.
The 20-million pound wedding was held in the south of France over the weekend. Other stars, such as Whitney Houston, Julio Iglesias and his son Enrique also performed at the celebrations.
The Forbes ranked Andrei Melnichenko at 514th position in the world�s list of richest people in 2004.
